1. A battered copy of Uncle Remus Stories

(No, I really haven't kept up with any of the people I knew in high school. Tamara and I weren't even in school together; that's just when I met her.)

2. A cool-as-hell thingy called PageUp, for holding papers upright so you can read them while typing
3. A bronze bell and a little hammer for striking it

5. Staying up ridiculously late to read (and usually falling asleep in class the next day)
