halp!

Is anybody besides me having trouble with gmail right now?

ETA: Oh okay. Restarting Firefox seems to have done the trick.

I have two friends who've had their gmail accounts hacked due to shall we say less than secure passwords. ...if that's what you're talking about. >_>

Might be a random server thing. It happens to my googledocs all the time.

I just logged in and sent mail from there to my main account, so it's not a universal problem at least.

Hm. No, I can still connect. (Good thing too, because I'm on my Chromebook.)

I was having trouble getting Bmail to work, and while I thought restarting Firefox might fix the problem I was in the middle of a particularly tense and dramatic Doctor Who story arc (oh those Daleks! When will they ever learn?), and I couldn't bear the idea of stopping it even for a second. Clearly, resetting was simply not an option.

I was sure that I had no choice but to give up and start a Hotmail account (horror!), but then I read that you had reset Firefox...and to my great surprise, you had fixed it!

Thank you, Toon! Thank you for taking the sacrifice for all of us, cutting yourself off from the life-giving dataflow for Mute-only-knows-how-long, thereby saving Gmail for us all! I can't imagine the agony...that eternal ten seconds staring at the loading browser window, waiting for the universe to come back to you.

This day will henceforth be remembered as Batya Reset Firefox Day! I have spoken with the Council of Fathers, and they have agreed to share the day with you, provided they still get power tools and handmade greeting cards. After all, you probably saved their Gmail accounts too

Love that icon. :)

Power tools and cards for dads, Challah French Toast and excellent tea for Batya. :)
