Off to Conflikt. Internet access is likely; free time to use it is less so, since I'll be, you know, at a con. But I should be reachable by email if you need me.

It feels decidedly strange to be going back to Seattle, which is where I lived between the ages of three and thirteen. I don't expect to be seeing much of my old stomping grounds, because they are nowhere near the part of the city we'll be in, but ...
Just let me see the mountain while we're there. That's all I ask.

Enjoy. If you and [livejournal.com profile] mnemex decide to chat about the Bottle pbem, go ahead.

I want to know more about your feelings regarding being in Seattle again once you're back from the con.

Did you get to see the mountain? He is a big part of the... coolness of this place...

Was good talking to you. I hope we get to filk again sometime. This time next year, maybe?

Yay mountain!

Alas, OVFF is out; already committed to OryCon. But there's always trading lyrics on the IntarWebs...

Or maybe Seanan will drag you back to Consonance at some point... :)

I didn't get to converse much at the con, but I enjoyed watching you laugh at all the silliness, and I think the phrase "You are a bad man" might just end up in our household's vocabulary. And do you have the words (or better, an MP3 or CD) with "The Filkers Who Don't Sing Anything?" My daughter was helping out in hospitality when you sang it in open filk on Friday and I'm afraid my description of it wasn't adequate.

I'm curious, if you care to share, what part of Seattle you lived in way back then.
