I did indeed get to see the mountain. Once on Friday while we were going food shopping, and again today -- en route to the airport, and at the airport, and finally from the plane during takeoff. So, so gorgeous.

It was! Sadly, this time next year is really unlikely. :( (You should come to OVFF!)
