Hi all. This is Alex, posting in Batya's place. She is currently coping with a kidney stone and an infection, and resting comfortably at the local hospital. It was a long day but she was starting to feel better when I left for the night. With any luck, they will let her come home tomorrow.

I had a kidney stone once, though it required only an ER visit, not hospitalization. I know how agonizing they are. Best wishes to her.
