Having just uploaded a bunch of new icons, I'm going to jump in way late to a meme that was going around a month or so ago:

The shipper icon requires that you know four things, primarily among them the terms "OTP" and "shipper". (The other two are that Moya is the name of the living starship on Farscape, and that Serenity is the name of the cargo ship on Firefly -- but basically "they're both spaceships" is the important part.)
Shipper, also written as 'shipper, is a fandom term meaning (roughly) "relationship enthusiast". If you think Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley are cute together but you don't necessarily care much, that's one thing -- but if you think they are DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER and anyone who says otherwise is WRONG WRONG WRONG, you're a Harry/Ginny 'shipper. OTP stands for "One True Pairing" and is a term originally used by shippers to proclaim the utter rightness of the relationship they support. These days it's used ironically more often than not.

By this time you should be able to pick apart the icon and its dreadful, dreadful pun.



The "anime" icon was a sketch that a sidewalk caricaturist in Santa Monica did of me. I took it home, scanned it, colorized it, and eventually shrank it to icon size.
