Strange dream ... wonder what it means
So every now and then my beloved clone
cadhla will tell us about having dreamed a movie, or a TV series. Usually quite an interesting one.
A few nights ago I dreamed a commercial. For a car. A sedan, I think.
The commercial storyline involved a bunch of people in a small town not far from a major interstate highway, riding their bicycles to the edge of the highway to watch the Wild Hunt go by.
Yes, the Wild Hunt. Driving aforesaid black sedans.
It was actually a fairly pleasant commercial: beautifully shot, nicely atmospheric, and assuming a certain knowledge of folklore on the part of the viewer, which is always fun.
I just can't figure out how it got in my head.
You'd think anyone who knows enough to broadcast this commercial to specifically my dream would know that I don't drive.

Of course, the Wild Hunt wouldn't be caught dead in sedans. Sportiest coupes on the market!

Musings
Just wanted to say I came across your "The Faerie Queen Went Down To Georgia" while doing a search for Heather Alexander's lyrics (since I was listening to it and was suddenly moved to hunt it down for whimsy and notions of new tag lines) and my but it's a small, small world.
Have you checked the new fics out in the the Gargoyles fandom lately? I recommend Jackel if you haven't seen her work yet.

Call it a hunch, but I think you will really like her work. She has the gift of fine story telling.
For the record... I don't remember what the Hunt was riding, save that it was pale and fast, and I was glad to be at the side of the Hunt rather than before it.
