...so okay, in other news...

... I have a job offer. And I'm taking it.

Fulltime. Office secretary at a local Jewish girls' school.

This spells the end of my happy-go-lucky half-the-week-free part-time-job existence. This is a serious commitment. This is looking perilously like a career decision.

This will earn me more than twice annually what I'm making now.

I'm terrified.
Somebody hold me.

Congratulations! *big hug* I hope you enjoy your work and your co-workers!

Yes, but you can always make another career decision if this one doesn't work. That's the nice thing about it; despite what my students seem to think, you really aren't making a life-long commitment yet. You can change your mind. You can run off to England like my folks did a decade ago. Or you can move across the country like they did this year...or you can less dramatically just change jobs or job paths while staying in the same place. *grin* Lots of options. So enjoy this as a start - the question isn't "Is this what I want to do forever?" but "Is this something good for me now?"

Best of luck!
