The update includes nearly eight months' worth of snipe. It's not as much as you might think, oddly enough.

What are the source and meaning of "[something] iz pasted on yay"? I've been seeing this phrase a bunch but I haven't been able to track it down.

[I had been going to put *begin linguist mode* and *end linguist mode* at the beginning and end of this comment, but I'm not sure I ever fully leave that mode, so...]

It began with some psychodrama in the LOTR movie fandom, with some wanker posting pictures and claiming they were hers or her friend's, putting up "drawings" that were probably photomanips, etc. One picture she posted was (supposedly) of Dominic Monaghan lying on a bed; the fakery was reasonably obvious. The commentary included the following exchange, or something to the effect of same:

"Dom's a bit long in the torso in that picture, and he's got a bit of a gut, no?"
"Not to mention the MY HED IZ PASTEDE ON YAY effect."

Then the meme took on a life of its own. I hear it's currently in the process of eating Sheboygan.
