(I'm vulnerable to peer pressure after all; you just have to find the right peers.)
So, here's the memefoo. If my life were a fandom:
a. Who would the 'shippers pair me with?
b. Who would the slashers pair me with?
c. What would a Mary Sue in my fandom be like OR who is mostly likely to be turned into Canon Sue?
d. When did I/when will I jump the shark?
e. Write a one sentence summary of the story that would win the Best Fanfic Award in my fandom.

a)
b) For old AP times' sake, I'm gonna go with
c) Not sure about a canon Sue. Mary Sue... Curves in the right places, yards of raven/etc hair (and/or effortlessly gorgeous and fashionable snoods), the usual eyes, etc. Ethereally lovely singing voice. Photographic memory. Phenomenal artist, writer, cook, etc., and always eminantly snipe-able. Has read all the good books, and can quote them perfectly and at length. Shall I go on?
d) Uh... not sure.
e) Batya (and friends) go to a con; unfortunately, so do Beatrice and friends. Hijinks and hilarity ensue, crises are narrowly averted, and everyone ends up happily in the right identity. Probably. We think.

It can either be a pairing that's so obviously canon (explicitly or no) that pretty much everyone 'ships (or slashes) them, or else (more usually) an author's preferred pairing.
