So since I have been flaky about responding individually: thank you, thank you to all of you who posted good wishes in my last entry. (And, for that matter, to all of you who posted congratulations about the nomination in August.)

Also, for those of you who are accustomed to look for me on the internets at night and on weekends: just a reminder that I won't be around this Saturday night and Sunday, or next. The last of the autumn holidays, Sukkot, starts tonight. (I will be around Sunday evening, both this week and next.)
